A Quick Holiday Post
Hi Everyone – just a quick update on our recent holidays!
Long overdue a few weeks off work, we started to look up potential places to go for a well earned break. We both managed to get a long 3 weeks off work (very friendly managers!) so didn’t mind something a little more long haul. We hunted around online looking at possible destinations, everything from flights to florida to cheap flights to Brazil!
We ended up finding a great deal on a package, all inclusive so we didn’t have to pay any extra when we arrived. And the destination? Prague 
It has always been a city we’ve wanted to visit, so we thought it would be the perfect choice. The airport was a fair way out of town, so it took at least 30mins to get to the hotel, but we where pleasantly surprised with the price of the cab fare – Prague is cheap!
The hotel was fantastic, and the staff sorted us out pretty quickly on arrival. The room – big enough, but a little basic if I’m honest. For a longer stay you would want something a little more equipped. But anyway… It has a nice comfy bed to come back to after all the site seeing!
The sites around Prague are a real treat – make sure you take your camera and get plenty of shots. We went in October, and to be honest – the weather was pretty cold, so walking around the town it got freezing! Make sure you also pack plenty of warm clothing to avoid the cold creeping in, two pairs of gloves and socks is a must.
Its easy to spent the days walking around central Prague, however we found the center a little too touristy, and the prices in the square for drinks and meals was close to any large city – not comparable to the rest of Prague. We found heading out, and away from the crowds the best way to get better prices, and actually, better service! Would we go back to Prague? Yes!
